Entertaining - So many recipes. So many ideas. So many excuses to throw a party.
Kids and Moms Cookie Exchange Party

Kids love to play with dough so why not bake cookies - ones that kids can star in - ones that need patting, pressing and rolling in balls. Of course sprinkles and frosting are finger lickin' fun as well. Bake with your child. Take one kind of cookies and exchange with other moms and kids and come home with a bunch of cookies you can gift or be proud to serve to family and friends.

Make It Special!

  • Have good-for-you eats before the cookie treats. We've provided tasty ideas that will fill up kids before they start cookie and frosting munching.
  • Choose recipes among a group of Moms with kids. Each Mom and kid bakes enough cookies for each pair to take home a dozen each. So for example, if there are six pairs of Moms and kids, each pair makes six dozen cookies.
  • Print cookie exchange recipes for each pair on festive computer paper or card stock.
  • Shop with your child for inexpensive large, plastic holiday trays for cookie collecting (one for each Mom and kid). Moms and kids can arrange one dozen of their cookies on each tray. Wrap the trays with red or green plastic wrap.
  • Cookies make great gifts, treats for Santa or joyful sharing with family and friends.
